Devon Mining Limited holds a small-scale exploration licence in North-Western Province, Zambia, within the highly prospective Lufilian Arc, a region known for major copper, cobalt and gold deposits. Tardis Mining Solutions completed a nine-day soil geochemical survey across the licence, collecting 426 samples on a systematic 100 m × 100 m grid and analysing them using portable X-ray fluorescence. The area is largely covered by Kalahari Sands, meaning surface geochemical responses are subdued and require advanced interpretation techniques. The survey identified coherent copper fertility zones beneath the sand cover, supported by ratio-based and multivariate analysis designed to separate genuine mineralisation signals from regolith effects. Discrete copper anomalies form linear trends interpreted as metal leakage along structural pathways, confirming real copper enrichment rather than surface artefacts. Gold values are low at surface, as expected in transported cover environments, but the presence of associated pathfinder elements indicates potential concealed gold mineralisation. These results confirm strong early-stage copper–gold prospectivity and provide well-defined targets for further exploration.
